An organisation working with local people from all backgrounds to promote greater equality

Fair Frome champions greater financial, educational, social and health equality for people living in Frome and the surrounding areas. We work alongside communities, families, individuals, volunteers, partner agencies and other stakeholders to create joined up, sustainable services, support innovation, raise awareness of the issues of poverty and increase participation across Frome.

Why the community needs us

Fair Frome works in Frome with those people most in need of help, and offers practical support, such as ensuring that everyone has access to food, furniture, white goods and kitchen equipment.

Fair Frome also aspires towards greater financial, educational, social and health equality in Frome and runs projects designed to bring people together from different backgrounds and across generations to find common solutions.

Our impact on the community

Over the last 12 months 350 households  have been supported through the Food Bank, 400+ people have attended our Community Dining events and 20 people benefited from structured volunteering and training placements with us.

Registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in February 2014, we have a small staff team, 11 active and experienced Trustees from a range of backgrounds and over 30 volunteers all working together to deliver real projects which make a real difference for real people.
