Struggling to put food on the table? How to obtain grocery vouchers and food

How the food bank works. Obtaining grocery vouchers and emergency food

Fair Frome Food Bank

Fair Frome Food Bank aims to provide emergency food, in the form of grocery top-up parcels that contain three days’ supply of essential dried food and toiletries.  The service is for people living within the BA11 post code area and nearby villages who are experiencing financial crisis. Fair Frome works with partner organisations to ensure that service users are supported to address their financial difficulties. Where possible and appropriate, the Food Bank will signpost service users to the relevant agencies with the expertise to address these issues.

Grocery top-ups are available in three sizes – individual, couples and families, with a maximum number of consecutive referrals being 3.  Fair Frome do however recognise that financial difficulties are not always confined to singular events and that there may be circumstances which require additional or new periods of support.

If you are undergoing a crisis and struggling to put food on the table, please visit one of the agencies below  – they will assess your circumstances (do take evidence if you have it) and issue a grocery voucher if appropriate:
