DONATIONS: please note due to our storage space being full we are no longer able to accept any more donations for the Baby Basics Bank.

Our Baby Basics Bank is our newest programme. It works to provide families, and parents with essential baby and toddler equipment such as baby cots, high chairs, baby baths, prams and pushchairs, weaning item plus other baby items. Where it is safe to do so, we collect donated secondhand items to give out, however, due to health, hygiene and safety reasons we will also purchase new items where needed.

Baby Basic Bank recipients must be referred through our referral system. A list of typical referrers can be found below. If you are unsure if you are able to refer someone, please contact us for advice.

Items are free and available to collect for people in who live in the BA11 area and the surrounding villages.

What items will be available:

All items at the Baby Basic Bank will be subject to availability.  Examples of items we can provide:

  • Baby cots and Toddler beds
  • Baby Baths, towels
  • Pushchairs and Prams
  • Moses’ baskets and stands
  • Feeding Items- bottles (no used teats), bottle sterilisers, feeding pillows
  • Breast pumps, breast pads (including reusable)
  • Changing mats, changing bags
  • Weening Items- highchairs, weaning kits
  • Stairgates, Baby monitors
  • Toys- playmats, toys, bouncers
  • Nappies

Eligibility Guidelines:

  • The client must reside within BA11 or surrounding villages
  • Clients who demonstrate they are unable to afford to purchase the requested items
  • There are many reasons why people may need help. Please feel free to contact us to discuss.
