Fair Frome champions greater financial, educational, social and health equality for people living in Frome and the surrounding areas.

We work alongside communities, families, individuals, volunteers, partner agencies and other stakeholders to create joined up, sustainable services, support innovation, raise awareness of the issues of poverty and increase participation across Frome.

Fair Frome has been extremely busy since the pandemic began and we are getting busier as the cost of living crisis impacts the local community.

We recognise the practical and emotional strain this is having on our local community and inevitably this is hitting those who are already struggling hardest. We have increased the levels of services we are providing and the ways in which we are delivering them to reach as many people as possible and ensure our staff and volunteers are as safe as they can be. The uncertain future will continue to increase local need and stress.

If you want to help

Please donate any long-life food you can at our donation points, in Asda, Sainsburys, Westway Co-op, Badcox Co-op, Tesco Express, Lidl, Coventry Building Society, and Frome Wholefoods. You can find a list of our most needed items on Facebook or download the free app ‘Bank the Food’ to track our food needs.

If you can’t get to the supermarket, please think about giving us some money by using the local giving link on the right and gift aiding where possible so we can buy food or donating an online for shop to our food bank.

Thank you for all your support so far. We couldn’t do any of this without the support of our local community.

These referrals must come from a recognised, trusted organisation and can be sent to our email address or taken over the phone. Even when offices are closed, telephone lines are open and refers will be able to take your referral over the phone.
