Local charity Fair Frome were delighted to open the new Puregym in Frome on Friday 28th March, which marked the start of a new partnership for supporting the Food Bank with a permanent donation point.
Lenka Grimes, Fair Frome Senior Coordinator explained” We are really pleased to have another donation point in the town in order to increase Food bank stocks. We spent £8,000 last year on Food Bank items and we just can’t afford to do that anymore.”
Fair Frome donation points are situated in Sainsburys, Asda, Lidl, Tesco Express, Coop Fromefield, Coop Badcox, Howden Insurance on Catherine Street, Coventry Building Society, Frome Wholefoods and the Cheese and Grain.
Frome Puregym Manager Joe commented “We really want to support the local community and we feel Fair Frome do a great job so we are keen to support in any way and will be putting on some fun fund-raising events”.
