On Sunday, 5th October 2025, eight brave individuals from Frome will be abseiling down the historic 160ft Alfred’s Tower in a bid to raise much-needed funds for Fair Frome, the local charity that operates the area’s essential food bank, Community Pantry, Furniture Bank, Food at Five, Baby Basics, and a variety of financial assistance and holiday lunch programmes.
Supporting Vital Community Projects
Fair Frome works tirelessly to alleviate the effects of poverty, supporting local families and individuals with food parcels, community meals, furniture recycling, and critical baby essentials. The funds raised from this thrilling abseil will go directly to supporting projects that put food on tables, provide financial relief, and ensure children have access to healthy meals throughout the year.
Get Involved and Donate
The charity’s impact stretches far across Frome, and every donation helps it reach more people in crisis due to the cost-of-living challenges facing the community. Supporters are encouraged to cheer on the abseilers and contribute through the Localgiving fundraising page to help Fair Frome continue its lifesaving programmes.
