Fair Frome’s Furniture Bank urgently needs a new, reliable van to keep delivering essential furniture and white goods to local families in need. Every week, the charity collects and redistributes donated items—beds, sofas, fridges and washing machines—to people who are struggling to furnish their homes, from families facing hardship to individuals moving on from homelessness or care.
The old van has served the community well but has now become unreliable and costly to repair. A new Luton van with a tail‑lift would allow the team to collect and deliver larger items safely and efficiently while improving health and safety for volunteers. It would also mean more donations can be collected and more households supported every month.
