We are absolutely thrilled to announce that this year’s Real World Cup football tournament raised an incredible £1,387 (including Gift Aid) in support of Fair Frome!
Organised by dedicated community members Sean Kelly, Chris Gilson, and our very own Lenka Grimes, the tournament brought local players together for a fantastic day of competitive football and community fundraising on Sunday, 4th October, at the Writhlington Sports Centre.
After coming agonisingly close in the previous three tournaments, Arc House Sharks finally lifted the trophy! A huge congratulations to the team for a well-deserved victory.
Events like this simply cannot happen without the generous support of local businesses, sports groups, and venues. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to:
Arc House and SK Conservation for their incredibly generous event donations.
Frome Town United for their valuable support and contributions.
Writhlington Sports Centre for accommodating us and kindly providing the pitch booking at a reduced community rate.
Every penny raised goes directly toward helping Fair Frome deliver crucial support, including our food bank, furniture bank, and community mealsto individuals and families across Frome who need it most.
Thank you to everyone who organised, played, donated, and cheered from the sidelines. You’ve shown once again what a supportive and vibrant community we have!
