Frome Rainbows Raise Funds and Food for Fair Frome Food Bank
The 2nd Frome Rainbows group has made a huge difference for local families in need by raising £90 for Fair Frome, the charity that runs Frome’s vital food bank.
As part of a Guiding Thinking Day challenge, the Rainbows completed helpful tasks like cleaning, setting tables, dusting, washing up, and gardening. They used their hard-earned funds to purchase much-needed items from Fair Frome’s urgent food list, directly supporting families facing food insecurity in our community.
Lenka Grimes, Senior Coordinator at Fair Frome, visited the group to thank them and to share how the charity also supports local people with programmes such as Food @ Five hot meal sessions, the Furniture and Baby Basics Bank, the Assistance Scheme, and the ‘Grab and Go’ breakfast bags.
